Delete your Droppa account

1. Open the Droppa app and sign in.
2. Riders: open Profile. Drivers: open Settings.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
4. Confirm. The account is deleted straight away and you are signed out on every device.

You cannot delete an account while a trip or delivery is in progress. Finish or cancel it first.

If you cannot open the app, email support@idroppa.com with the subject “Delete my Droppa account”. Tell us the phone number on the account and whether it is a rider or a driver account. We may call or text that number to confirm the request is yours, and we delete the account within 30 days.

• Your name, phone number, email address and password.
• Your profile photo, home address, saved emergency contacts and trusted drivers.
• Your location history, and the list of phones the account was signed in on.
• The mobile money number recorded against your payments.
• Your security questions and your notification registration.
• Drivers: your licence number, national ID number, date of birth and address, and every document and photo you uploaded (licence, ID, police clearance, selfie and vehicle photos). The files themselves are removed, not just hidden.
• The account is closed: nobody can sign in to it, and every signed-in device is signed out.

• Trip, delivery and payment records. These stay in our books with your name, phone number, email and payment number removed, so they no longer identify you. We keep them because accounting, tax and safety rules require a record of trips and payments.
• Safety reports. A report made about a trip is kept so an incident can still be investigated.

You can ask us to remove specific information (for example a profile photo, saved places or an email address) while keeping your account. Email support@idroppa.com from the number or address on the account and say what you want removed.

Deleting an account cannot be undone. You are welcome to register again later with the same number.
